Standing tall the poet rises.

Standing tall the poet rises.

When the poet “courbe l’échine” he feeds his ego.

Face on the ground the poet becomes the system.

3 Stages Policy of Poetry is an action poetry performance about our relationship to physical vessel and abstract thinking.

The performance explores various degrees of tonalities and sensitivities around body language and messages.

With 3 Stages Policy of Poetry Sylvain Souklaye explores our addiction and believes in causes and prophets. The poet used to be the first sign of culture and the last wall against barbarity. In the digital revolution era, the endless need for content builds false and derivative narratives and each one needs his villain and poet. As such and exposed to capitalism as a new form of freedom, the poet becomes a villain with a righteous logo.

3 Stages Policy of Poetry is a three-phase experiment from lighting and visceral poetry, to coercive and productive artistry until crawling marketing and one liners.

Sylvain Souklaye invites the audience to choose together what type of people they are to the poet.

Either passionate souls, casual customers or passive shareholders, the choice is the price to pay.
