Liquid soul

Together but separate…
In situ and omnipotent…
The self or the many…

The civilisational space designs, dictates and controls identities, genders, religions, colours to maintain order.
Who are you? What are you? Where do you come from? This triumvirate is the fundamental mechanism of human interactions and then articulates our collective behaviour.

We all have or been given flags, frontiers, languages, and architectures that hierarchise nations, groups, families and individuals. They only exist to establish a productivist classification and an artificial narrative written by winners.

What if one doesn’t want to be situated nor accepts our secular situational structure? What if what one thinks, feels, and has an inner certainty that is not a part of the parameters available?

Liquid soul is an attempt to disconnect our soul or intimacy from the succession of moral, economic and societal constructs.

Innate and acquired? The performer Sylvain Souklaye doesn’t know, but something inside him, something is whispering to go back to his origin. His names, appearances, language, and embedded beliefs are not his, despite their familiarities and how they are recognised by others.
Sylvain Souklaye desires to regain his natural space, the unknown surrounded by a liquid world.
To connect with this state of soul, he will spend three hours in a water tank to reach out, converse and intertwine with his intimacy.

Liquid soul is not given. Sylvain Souklaye will try to separate himself from the world while reaching togetherness and face his origin.

Liquid soul is a chance but/and/or risk.
